밤샘 청춘 레이스 - 내꿈에 어깨동무할 친구를 찾아서 사회적기업과 청년 창업인들을 만나 밤새 꿈을 이야기하는 행사 ‘밤샘청춘레이스’ 를 위한 디자인.
강정평화대행진 로고 6월에 강정을 방문했을 때, 가는 날이 장날이라고 디자이너라 소개한 즉시 일을 맡겨주셨다. ‘오늘까지 로고가 나와야하는데 디자이너가 없어요.’ 여행가서까지 일을 하게 될 줄이야. 왠지 일을 할 것 같아서 맥북을 가져갔더니 정말 신기하게도 일이 생겼다. 여행 첫날부터 새벽까지 일하고 다음날도 늦게 출발하게 되었지만 도움이 된 것에 큰 뿌듯함을 느낀다. 강정에는 평화가 없다. 늘 첨예하게 대립하는 그 긴장감. 지키려는 사람들과 막으려는 사람들과 일을 하는 사람들과 일을 시키는 사람들. 압력과 권위와 권력에 굴하지 않고 치열하게 싸우는 사람들. 그들은 지쳤다. 언제까지 이 지친 싸움을 해야하는 지 모르지만 질 수 없다. 평화가 없는 그 곳에 평화가 찾아오길 바라며 시작된 이 행진은 비폭력을 외치며 제주도를 돌았다. 수많은 사람이 모여 무리를 이루고 군중을 이루어 평화를 바랐지만, 당시 올림픽과 티아라 사건에 묻혀 대중들은 큰 호응을 해주지 못했다. 4.3으로 상처나고 짓밟힌 그 곳에는 지금도 평화가 없다. Gangjeong Peace March LOGO When I visited Gangjeong, I made it for the event. Even in the travel, I worked. It was so tired but my heart was full with happy.  —— Gangjeong, a town, is in Jeju island, Korea. Korean Navy wants to build a base here. Navy didn’t consider and not listen the town people’s voice. Navy didn’t opened town meeting. Navy forced to make the fence around the town and explored the landmark rock, Gurumbi-the heart and spiritual symbol of Gangjeong town, without the town people’s permission. At first, Government said that the base is for the naval base and cruise port. Private and public joint port of navy and cruise.  However, nearshore around Gangjeong is so shallow and dangerous for the port. How we believe the government for this reason. Is that right that the government researched enough before the construction? Not reasonable. So the town people not permits the plan and they are confronting with the government everyday at the gate of the construction site. In the construction process, Government used Police to block the people and arrested people for the expression of the Power of Government. The construction is illegal. Navy cannot build the base in that place because the site is not for the use. They are pressing the construction ahead all day. Even they are working at night and dawn. The government breaks the laws everyday. When typhoons come in summer, Gangjeong is the most dangerous place in Jeju. 2 weeks ago, when the typhoon ‘Bolaven’ came, the caissons in the sea ahead of Gangjeong, all destroyed by the typhoon. Why Government forcing the construction hard like this? Why they don’t listen the voice of people? Why they breaks the law? I don’t know.

I took this shot yesterday morning from by the way of Yeoui-do, Seoul, Korea. Duck and her babies looks cute but they are playing in dirty water. So sad :(
